Stated once, clearly
Everything that matters about what Chicken Road is — and isn't — gathered on one page, so you never have to wonder who's talking to you.
A fan project, fully independent
Chicken Road is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the developer of Chicken Road, its publishers, or any official channel. Every opinion, table and mistake on this site belongs entirely to the fans who wrote it — and we rather like it that way.
Entertainment, and only that
Chicken Road is covered here as an arcade game of timing, reflex and nerve — a piece of interactive entertainment, full stop. The magazine exists because crossing lanes is fun, and every guide and field note is written to keep that fun honest and alive. Nothing on this site should be read as any kind of professional advice.
Commentary, not official information
Our difficulty tables describe how the game's modes behave in our reading and experience. They are commentary. The game's own info panel is the authoritative source for exact parameters, and where the two differ, the panel wins. Game versions change; we re-check, but we can't be everywhere at once.
About our demo panel
The live dispatch demo on our homepage is an original illustration built for this magazine to show the rhythm of a run. It is not the game, doesn't copy any game's parameters, and shouldn't be used to draw conclusions about any real version of Chicken Road.
Names and content
Game titles and related marks remain the property of their respective owners and appear here in a plainly editorial, fan-commentary context. The magazine's own texts, tables and jokes are ours; you're welcome to quote them with a link back.
When you leave
This magazine links only within its own pages. If you head off to play the game itself, you'll be in the developer's territory under their rules — a fine place, just not ours.
